Plaiting the hair
Question
Are women allowed to plait their hair in Islam? If yes, will it affect the ghusal?
Answer
Plaiting the hair is sunnat for females.
If the hair is plaited and ghusl becomes compulsory then the hair does not have to be untied as long as the water reaches the roots of the hair.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
