Question

I have certain relatives who are non-Muslims. When they pass away, will it be permissible for me to view their corpse?

Answer

It is not correct for a muslim to be around the funeral rites of a non-Muslim.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Ask Mufti Online

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
