Neighbours giving one haraam food
Question
Our Muslim neighbours offered my husband chicken biryani but we were not sure if the chicken was halaal or not since we've seen them before buying non halaal chicken but they argue that its halaal. We removed the chicken from the biryani and ate the rice but we felt bad about it. What must be done in such situations?
Answer
If you see them purchase non halaal chicken, then it is not permissible for you to eat the chicken or the food in which the chicken is cooked.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
