Ibaadat of a person who sniffs cocaine
Question
If a person sniffs cocaine, does his prayers, fasting and good deeds not count for 40 days even though it takes 5 to 14 days to come out from the persons system?
Answer
Yes. He will not receive the reward of his ibaadaat for forty days even though he will be absolved of the responsibility of the ibaadaat. However, if he sincerely repents to Allah Ta'ala and makes a firm resolve not to repeat these sins in the future, Allah Ta'ala will accept his ibaadaat and grant him reward.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
