Woman conducting a nikaah
Question
Can a woman perform nikaah of two people like nikaah molvi and nikaah qazi? This type of nikaah will be valid or not if performed by a woman qazi?
Answer
A woman is required to be concealed, not coming up in any type of public forum. The hadeeth says: "A woman is to be concealed." How is she going to be concealed if she is going to be going out to conduct a nikaah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
