Dua for protection from bad thoughts
Question
Is there any surah/dua that can be recited for protection from all haraam deeds, words and thoughts? I feel like I am insane since I get bad thoughts which I am not supposed to think about.
Answer
The actual way to get your correction is determination and consulting regularly with some person who is acquainted with these types of problems. However, as a support you should recite the mu`awwizatain. Just as how a person doing business will make the effort of opening his shop etc. and as a support he will engage in dua etc.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
