Not following the waqf signs in the Quraan
Question
Is it permissible for someone who has some understanding of the meanings of the Quraan Shareef to not follow the waqf signs (e.g. ط in the IndoPak mushaf) and make waqf where he wishes (provided he does not make a big error)?
Answer
If he knows what he is reading and he does not join at the wrong places then it is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
