Woman covering her hands in ihraam
Question
I heard that a woman can't cover her hands and face during Umrah or Hajj. But I am planning on wearing a long khimar (hijab) during Umrah which will be covering my full hands, and this type of khimar is often used for prayer. Can I wear this long khimar for Umrah?
Answer
For women, it is permissible to cover the hands during ihraam for hajj and umrah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
