Cure for self-hate

Is there a cure for self-hate (from an Islamic perspective)?
Answer
To hate oneself is stupidity and ignorance. When life is a blessing then it is an opportunity. Without life you will not have the blessing to be able to work towards Jannat, the recognition of Allah, towards working to His pleasure and love. Hence, think along these lines. May Allah Ta`ala grant you the value of life like you have a value for wealth.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
