Combining aqeeqah and qurbaani
Question
1. Can I do aqeeqah and qurbaani together?
2. If permissible, how to do for boys and girls?
Answer
1. Aqeeqah and qurbaani cannot be joined in a goat or sheep. However, both can be done in a big animal e.g. a cow or camel.
2. The aqeeqah for a boy is two sheep or goats and the aqeeqah for a girl is one sheep or goat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
