Husband tells wife "If you don't listen to me then divorce 2 times"
Question
If somebody says to his wife"If you don't listen to me then divorce 2 times" If she does listen to him after that, does the talaaq occur or not? If she does not listen to him then does 1 or 2 talaaqs take place?
Answer
If the wife immediately obeyed the instruction of the husband, then no talaaq will take effect. However if she did not comply with the instruction of the husband, then two talaaqs will take effect.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
