Jealousy over the good of someone
Question
Is it a sin to give someone the evil eye unintentionally? Is it a sin to be jealous of someone’s rahmat?
Answer
To feel jealous over the good of any person is haraam. This in actual fact is being displeased with the decision and distribution of Allah Ta'ala. Hence, this is a grave sin in Islam.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
