Married woman getting married to someone else without divorce from first husband
Question
Apart from divorce, if a married girl escapes and gets married without registration, what are the rules of Islam?
Answer
A woman who is married to one man cannot get married to a second person. If she gets married to a second person, the marriage with the second person will not take place. If they have relations, this will be haraam and considered as adultery.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
