Husband paying his wife's zakaat
Question
If both, husband and wife are working, will the right to pay zakat be for the man or the woman since the gold belongs to the woman?
If the man cannot pay the zakat, what is the solution? Does the woman need to sell the gold to avoid giving zakat?
Answer
The woman will pay her own zakaat and the man is responsible to pay his own zakaat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
