Muslim student studying actuarial science

Can a Muslim student study actuarial science?
Answer
Actuarial science is not permissible as it entails work relating to insurance and insurance is not permissible due to the elements of interest and gambling being found in it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
