Cleansing oneself after a dog licks one's clothing or body
Question
If a dog licks you on clothes or body, what is the correct way to clean it?
There is a famous Hadith which mentions that if a dog licks a utensil, the latter should be cleaned 7 times with water and once with soil. Does this apply to just utensils or clothes/body as well?
Answer
Wash the soiled area thoroughly until the saliva is removed.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
