Keeping a taxidermy (stuffed animal)
Question
Is it permissible to keep a taxidermy - e.g. a person caught a live fish and he wishes to frame that fish... or he went hunting and wishes to keep the (trophy) head of the animal in his lounge.
Would this by any chance fall under the hukm of tasweer?
Answer
Yes, this has resemblance with tasweer and making statues. Hence, it is not permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
