Question

I have a question regarding suicide and Muslims:

If a person has committed suicide, is their will null and void? I don't think anyone speaks enough about these things happening because everyone wants to pretend it doesn't happen to Muslims and Muslims are shamed for being human but anyway what happens to their will?

Answer

Committing suicide is a major sin. However, this will not cause the person's Islamic will to become invalid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
