Dressing one's children in Islamic attire
Question
How do you make a person who believes that it is not necessary for minor children to be dressed in an “Islamic attire” understand the importance of following the Sunnah from an early age? They feel that theres no need for minors to wear burkas or kurtas etc. Hence it is fine to make them wear western attire. Please advise.
Answer
As the minors are coming up, it is the parents' duty to inculcate the right values and the right thinking. Hence, if the parents are going to show them and encourage them to the right dressing then they will grow up having a liking for the right dressing and appearance.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
