Fertility treatment and gender selection in Islam
Question
I'm going for a fertility treatment. I have 2 boys and I really want a beautiful healthy normal baby girl insha-Allah. I wanted to know, is gender selection allowed in Islam and what are the rulings regarding this.
Answer
If the treatment involves exposing the satr area or doing anything that is against the shariah, then it will not be permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
