Zakaat on gold
Question
My wife has around 17 tola gold. I want to know how much zakat she has to pay on it?
Answer
She will evaluate the gold according to the market value in the place where she is staying and pay 2.5% of the total value in zakaat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
