Women going out to learn how to use a gun

Are women allowed to learn how to use a gun (lessons) but the basics only?
Answer
Like they are allowed to use a knife, this will also not be impermissible. In this day of fitnah and corruption it is extremely dangerous for women to venture out of the house to learn these types of skills etc. as one may be saving herself in some respect, but endangering herself in other ways. And the preservation of modesty and chastity is far greater.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
