Explanation of the Hadith regarding covering any dishes/containers at night
Question
The Hadith mentions that we should cover any dishes/containers at night. Does this refer to only dishes/containers that got foodstuff it in or is it also for empty dishes/containers?
Answer
It refers to containers that have food items in it. As for containers that do not have anything in it, then the hadith teaches that they should be turned upside down.
