Reading a short Durood after tashahhud instead of Durood Ebrahim
Question
In the final sitting if one says: اللهم صل على محمد وآله وصحبه وسلم, is the prayer valid?
Answer
Yes, the salaah is valid. However, it is better and more rewarding to recite the Durood Ebrahim that is reported in the Hadith.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
