Transport company taking possession on one's behalf
Question
If you are selling an item and you do not get possession of it, does the delivery truck become your wakeel? Where there's an agent however the items get sent directly to the purchaser?
Answer
If the purchaser is paying the transport company for the delivery, then it will be regarded as though he had taken possession, as the transport company is acting on his behalf.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
