Is writing a fake story about someone regarded as backbiting?
Question
If A writes a story about A's sister B, and A says that B has skill issue, etc. (the story is fake), has A backbitten B?
Answer
If the information is false, then this is regarded as a false allegation, and this is haraam.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
