Age of menopause
Question
What is the cut off age of menopause? After that age will she regard that haid as istihadha? Will that age be according to her Islamic age?
Answer
Generally, the Fuqahaa regard 55 lunar years as the age of menopause, unless a woman experiences normal bleeding after this age. In that case, the bleeding will be regarded as haidh.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
