Posting lyrics of a song without the music
Question
Music is haraam. Can I listen to songs which has no music in it but the vocals only or can I post it on Instagram without the music, only the vocals which doesn't have any impropriety lyrics?
Answer
If it is sung in conformity with musical notes and tunes then too it will not be permissible. (Imdaad-ul-Fataawa, vol. 6, p. 197)
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
