Paying zakaat on jewellery that was gifted to someone on their zakaat date
Question
If a person on his zakaat date gifted a jewellery set to another person and it was also that person's zakaat date, who will pay the zakaat of the jewellery set?
Answer
Since both owned the jewellery set on their zakaat date, both will have to discharge the zakaat for the jewellery set.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
