Question

There is an orator who has been recorded as saying that asking Nabi ﷺ at the Raudah Mubarakah to make Duaa for a person is far worse of an act compared to a person who did Zina with and impregnated his mother and thereafter killed her. Is it okay to listen to such a person's motivational lectures?

Answer

Such people are jaahils. You should stay away from jaahils. They don't know deen. They have learnt the art of oration. That does not make a person qualified to speak on deeni matters. The problem that the ummat is faced with in this day is that we are just listening to any orator without verifying his credentials.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
