Shaping the eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil
Question
My wife does not pluck her eyebrow hair but she uses an eyebrow pencil to shape it at home and make it a little dark or when she goes out like for someone's marriage or function or just when going out. Is it right? Is it this that is prohibited in Hadith?
Answer
Since this resembles the ways and styles of the kuffaar, and it also has some resemblance with tattooing (i.e. making black marks on one's skin), she should avoid this.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
