Making engagement posters on the engagement of a couple

Is it okay to make engagement posters on the engagement of a couple?
For example: We are pleased to announce the proposal of:
Groom
Bride
Please advise.
Answer
It is more important to do the nikaah and announce the nikaah than making posters for this. Hurrying up and doing the nikaah and announcing it is an emphasised sunnat. And there is no basis for announcing the engagement.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
