Using an ointment for piles while fasting

Question

I have a haemorrhoid (piles) problem. For this, I have to use an ointment from my back passage. Will this break my fast?

Answer

If it does not go deep into the posterior then it will not break the fast.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
