Issuing a talaaq in one's mind
Question
If someone says Talak sentences multiple times through inner voice (heart, mind, etc.) with closed mouth, and no audible pronouncement, and the speaker was unable to hear himself in an audible voice, just the inner voice (heart, mind), Does talak take place?
Answer
If one did not verbally utter the talaaq but only thought of talaaq in his heart, the talaaq will not be valid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
