Question

The bride chose a musjid which has a ladies section and desires to be present for her nikkah. Is this allowed?

Furthermore, does she have to choose the musjid closest to home or can she use a musjid 2.5km away?

Answer

The best place for a woman is the home. And when the nikaah is the most memorable event then common sense will tell you that she should be in the best place and the best place is the home. We will not do what we feel is right, but what Allah Ta`ala and His Rasool say is best.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
