Step father hugging his step daughter
Question
Is it permissible for a step father to hold and hug his step daughter?
Answer
On account of the abundance of fitnah and wrong that is prevalent we strongly advise against this type of close contact. If lust is perceived from any side, this will cause the nikaah of the father with his wife to break.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
