TalaaqRevoking the Talaaq

Question

I had given my wife a Talaaq Rajii (revokable) in October 2024 after she demanded it.

During the iddat period we had been intimate but I did not utter the words that "I am taking her back".

I am a Hanafi and she is a Shafi. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

My question is whether she is still in my nikaah.

Answer

Yes, she is still in your nikaah. Through you being intimate with her, the rujoo has taken place and the talaaq has been revoked.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
