Staying away from family members who have sexually molested one's child
Question
I want to know if it is permissible for family to stay away from other family members who have sexually molested their child.
Answer
Yes, you should keep a safe distance from such people who are guilty of committing these vile crimes and regarding whom you fear harm coming to your Deen and self respect.
Nevertheless, if you meet them at any family function, then you should greet them with salaam.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
