Question

Can a woman cut her hair? If yes, What is the shortest?

If no, what is the longest she can allow it to grow beyond which she should cut?

What is the ideal/best length for her to keep? Can it be cut layered?

Answer

It is not permissible for a woman to cut or trim her hair. If she cuts or trims her hair, she will be sinful.

She should not cut her hair until it reaches her hips. However, if her hair length surpasses her hips and reaches her buttocks, then she can cut her hair till her hips.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
