Throwing umbrellas, water bottles, shoes, etc. at the jamaraat
Question
There are people who throw umbrellas, water bottles, shoes, etc. at the jamaraat. Please comment on this practice. Some say "Masha Allah" and praise those who do so.
Answer
This is against the sunnah and through this, the rami (pelting) will not be valid.
The sunnah is that one should pelt the jamaraat with 7 pebbles.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
