Selling collectable cards and video games
Question
Is it permissible to sell collectable cards, such as soccer cards, Pokémon, etc. Also video games disks, etc.
Answer
This is not part of our culture and ways. Things that are not part of our culture and are alien to our ways and are stemming from people who are wrong should be discouraged and no significance should be shown to it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
