Giving money to non-Islamic charities

If the organization does not have any religious connotation i.e. they are not supporting any religious course and you are sure and certain that they are going to spend it on people who are eligible then it is permissible. But we will not advise you to contribute towards such organizations as they do not have the understanding of halaal and haraam and of the right Islamic divine values.
