Disposing of menstrual pads
Question
Is it ok burn the menstrual pads? Is there any gunaah for doing so? People say that this act creates nahoosat in the home. Is this right?
Answer
This is superstition. Superstition has no basis in Islam. However there is no need to burn it. One may dispose of it in a place that is concealed from people.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
