Giving zakaat to one's cook
Question
Can I give zakaat to my cook, who is trying to buy a new house as her current living conditions are extremely poor? Also, her daughter is getting married. Can I give it to her daughter?
Answer
If she is poor and eligible to receive zakaat, then you can assist her with zakaat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
