Doing the decor for a birthday party
Question
I recently started learning how to do balloon decorations and someone asked me to make some decor for their birthday party and my mom agreed without me giving consent first.
I am well aware that we are not allowed to celebrate birthdays and I do NOT intend on celebrating nor attending this birthday party. Am I allowed to make the balloon decorations for this person with the intention of not celebrating with them?

Refuse to do this. Birthdays etc. have no basis in the sunnah. It is alien to Islam. When it is foreign to Islam then we are supposed to show some level of dislike. To support it in any way is showing some kind of liking, and the hadeeth says that on the Day of Qiyaamah you will be linked with those whom you like.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
