Standing on the mataaf and performing fardh salaah
Question
Is it permissible to read salaah on the mataaf in jamaat, as this is technically reading in front of the imam? Previously the imaams would perform on the mataaf/hateem, but not anymore.
Answer
If you are not facing the side of the Ka'bah that the imaam is facing then your salaah is valid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
