Participating in days that are dedicated for a certain thing
Question
Is it permissible to do an event or activities or participate on days that are dedicated to something, such as world book day, national thank a teacher day etc, if the event is permissible and you do not intend to celebrate but to participate by doing something? Does it depend on intention?
Answer
These are all unislamic events. A believer should not participate in any anti Islamic event, as he will be supporting and promoting the kuffaar traditions and customs.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
