Best place to stand in the saff in salaah behind the imaam
Question
When praying with an Imaam, are there any special benefits of standing directly behind him? Some people compete for this position where I am from and I want to know if there is anything to this.
Answer
Yes. The greatest virtue is to be straight in line behind the imaam, thereafter the person immediately on the right and then the person on the left.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
