Taking a student scholarship from a bank
Question
Is it permissible in Islam to take a student scholarship from a riba based bank?
The father is a guard man and the mother is a cook.
Answer
Riba, a piggery, brothel, drug den, and one dealing in stolen goods, are all the same. In fact, in the words of the Quraan it is the worst of all.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
