Reciting "Was Sultaan zillullaah.." in the second khutba
Question
I do kutbah on Friday in a masjid. In the second kutbah I read "Was Sultaanu zillullaah man ahana sultaanalllah ahana hulla" should I leave this out or read this? Some people say you should not read because in our times kings are zaalims.
Answer
There is no harm in reading it because this does not refer to any particular king.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
